The Beatles
The Beatles. The name of this band speaks for itself, not in the mention that the meaning of this word means something great, but the combination "The Beatle" is associated at the mind of everyone with glory, fame and the history of the whole age. The Beatles is a legendary music band from Liverpool. Four youths gathered together to represent their music for their contemporaries, supposedly they never even thought that they may become a legend and the emblem of the age. Though, they did, they did become the legend and the emblem. Millions of fans from all over the world were ready to do anything to get to their show, and till this days situation hasn't changed much. Sure there is no more The Beatles, and some of the members of the band are already dead, but there are still people who would do anything to bring back that time when the Beatles travelled all over the world with their tourneys.
At first many critics considered the Beatles to be the band of one hit, but with the lapse of time they proved that they are much more than one of the great number of youth's bands. The Beatles had always been different from others; they even acted on their own way when talking to their producer. For example there is an interesting fact when the Beatles dared to reject the song suggested by their producer. Who knows what could happen in case if George Martin would drive mad and refused from the Beatles, but he was rather smart one and so let them chose song on their own. That song they preferred instead of the one suggested by producer was "Please Please Me", and that song became one of the greatest hits of the Beatles.
The Beatles was so popular that there even officially recognized phenomena called as Beatles-mania. It wasn't just a term used by their fans, but it was a great movement of youth, and that movement was recognized by the whole world and mass media. October thirteen of 1963 was the day of official "registration" of beatlemania. In that day were printed and sold thousands of different newspapers where it was written about the Beatles and the beatlemania.
So, it was four young guys who managed to change the mood of their generation simply with music they performed. Years have passed but the Beatles still remains the legend and one of the most popular music bands. The generation of those who belonged to beatlemania movement has grew elder and they have their own children, and their children also likes the Beatles music and consider it as immortal classic. Sure they are not so crazy about the Liverpool fourth, but they also appreciate the music of the Beatles.
